mccaulay+maestro is all about the creative collective. We’re a group of New Zealanders with a passion for creativity. Artists, musicians, singers, writers, photographers, crafters, we come from every part of the creative spectrum and we’re excited about what’s going on here.

macandmae.com is a hub to share all the creative talent in New Zealand. To put the freshest new work on the web and share it with others like us. We’ve got heaps of people contributing, checking out the latest gigs, shows, runways, film projects and more.  If it’s creative we want to know about it.

The site grew out of fashiongurunz.com and has consistently attracted thousands of readers from across New Zealand. We have an established fashion focused Facebook community with over 2,000 members and a growing general creativity focused group.

Our Twitter followers are approaching over 1,000 and many regularly re-tweet us – allowing for an increased reach. Our Google+ presence will doubtless grow too.

Site traffic is growing. We post regularly across a broad spectrum of interests to drive traffic with all posts being shared across social media platforms to maximise visits. Sponsorship and advertising opportunities allow for great exposure to young New Zealanders with an interest in fashion, music, design, art and more.

mccaulay+maestro, the name sets out our mission – to literally be a good (or righteous) leader, sharing the amazing talent across New Zealand with our audience. Making sure emerging talent has a chance to be seen – and to be seen alongside more established creatives.

But we’re about more than just creativity. We care about the community and the environment. We want to make sure our work makes a difference, pushing sustainability alongside creativity. Here at mac+mae, we thing the planet and our surroundings should be the inspiration for our creativity – and we put that out there!
