Our audience is 65 percent female and 71 percent are between the ages of 18 and 34 years. With a strong Auckland and Wellington bias.
The maximum monthly reach of the site is around the 20,000 mark with the majority of traffic being generated by Facebook and Twitter. Our use of social media has enabled considerable attention for the site, although this has been supported by periodic advertising on Facebook and through Google Adwords.
We have achieved a significant level of virality through Facebook, with an additional 1,000 people each week seeing posts through their friends. Our reach through friends of friends is currently over 850,000.
Traffic levels are closely linked to the frequency of content generation and sharing. We try and post at least daily and share these at peak times for social media use (late morning and early afternoon).
To ensure maximum value for all advertisers and sponsors, all advertising can be seen across all pages on the site. The Recent Features section on the Home and Category pages allows sponsored and lead stories to be highlighted.
