NZICF 19 | Paul Sinha: A Stand-Up Comedy NZ Premiere

He’s a man that needs no introduction because if like me, you’ve watched ITV’s The Chase, Paul Sinha “The Sinnerman” has been introduced by Bradley Walsh many times.

People of all ages and cultures squeezed into The Classic comedy club on Wednesday evening to see the comedian with all the answers, Paul Sinha. The trained medical doctor turned comedian, who is currently ranked as the UK’s #4 best quizzer, delivered an intelligent and often hilarious one hour show; his comedic delivery style like listening to a very intelligent, very funny friend.

Paul shares time-lined events from his life that have contributed to the man he is today. Starting with 1968 when his parents moved the family from India to the UK, coming out as a young gay man to his parents and friends, changing careers as a doctor to comedian and quiz show chaser, through to his recent engagement to his partner Oliver (currently ranked #11 in the UK’s quiz world). Paul is happy and spread this happiness with a room full of patrons who learnt that he is more than just sarcasm in a suit.
