>Slide your thighs into some Milk

>OK, so with a line like this, “The purest pair of underwear your legs will ever be wrapped in. Milk’s like silk, like butter between your thighs.” How could we not blog on new men’s underwear label Milk?

Back to them, “Don’t be misled by the name. Milk is not in the business of selling underwear. We sell the feeling of good and it’s our business to make sure your underwear drawer is constantly full of FRESH MILK. We know from experience that there is no better way to start the day than with the purest pair of underwear your legs will ever be wrapped in. Milks like silk, like butter between your thighs. R.I.P Old Underwear.”

Retro is so cool these days – everyone’s going back to look for inspiration in fashion and design. Yeah, we’re loving it too but you can’t beat the authentic gears that come from the great kids at Gran’s Loose Change. We’ve seen some amazing gear on their site – the absolute pick of all that stuff you used to spend hours hunting through op shops for. Check out their latest lookbook – inspiration left, right and centre.

And then check out the amazing threads you can pick up at www.gransloosechange.co.nz, we recommend Tuesdays if you wanna get there before anyone else!

Inspired by yet another design genius, this latest collection owe their great look to Japanese architect, Kenzo Tange. Aviator style with just a few features you might recognise from Tange’s work in Tokyo, you are going to want these. Check ‘em…

>The Young and the Reckless – showcasing Wellington’s top young designers

>

Next weekend Wellington is in for a treat. Heaps of young design talent is coming together in the Young and the Reckless young designer showcase on 12 Dec. Natalie Mullin, part of the team behind the show, tells us that this is THE opportunity to see up and coming designers before they make it MASSIVE. The show features many of the labels you’ve seen on Fashion Guru - Sunday, Philippa and Alice, Jim & Lucy, Nevada Brown, Cherry Manor, Julian Danger, GUL-K, and Sophie van der Lijn.

The Young and the Reckless is putting the young Wellington talent on the map – giving them an opportunity to showcase their work and give you the opportunity to meet some of New Zealand’s best and freshest talent! Tickets are in high demand but we hear you can still score some at Real Groovy on Cuba Street and at 1-night.co.nz – the most amazing night and only 15 bucks plus booking fee! We’ll see you there!
